Born in Porto, my background bridges visual media and philosophy, supported by formal education in Cinema and Video at the Escola Superior Artística do Porto and a degree in Philosophy from the Universidade do Porto (2004).
Between 1998 and 2002, I worked extensively in the performing arts as a producer, photographer, and videographer for theater companies including MetaMortemFase, Aramá, Cassiopeia, and Apiarte. Concurrently, I wrote and directed four independent films: O Porto da Noite (1996), Miragens (1998), Liga-me (1999), and Belo (2001).
Since 2003, I have focused on freelance photography, specializing in studio portraiture, reportage, and documentary projects across Spain, France, and the United Kingdom. Today, I collaborate closely with major cultural institutions, including Teatro Aramá, Teatro Municipal do Porto, Seiva Trupe, and Arte no Tempo. Since 2017, I have served as the dedicated Performing Arts event photographer for the Serralves Foundation.
